At Rickley Park we follow the White Rose Schemes of Learning from Foundation through to
Year 6.
What does a typical maths lesson look like at Rickley Park?
- Starter- this task relates to prior learning and ensures the children have retained
previously taught concepts - Focus- the small step is introduced and modelled to the children
- Guided- we practice the learning of the day altogether
- Independent- the children demonstrate their understand through carefully planned
tasks
