We are looking to appoint co-opted governors on to our local governing board.
Rickley Park Primary School is part of the Inspiring Futures through Learning Trust. We are looking to appoint co-opted governors on to our local governing board.
As you will be aware, schools have been working tirelessly to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of their pupils and staff during the pandemic. We know that many of you may now want to show your appreciation by giving back some of your time to the community and help schools to continue to safeguard the education of children.
Rickley Park was acknowledged as a Good school by Ofsted in 2016 and is aspiring to go beyond Outstanding over the coming years. By applying the school’s vision, direction, dedication and commitment, we believe this goal can and will be achieved.
No specific qualifications are required to become a governor, but there are certain expectations. We are seeking people who have enthusiasm, time and a real desire to help provide children with the best possible education. You will need to be able to work as part of a team and commit to attending governor meetings (six evenings per year), attend training and conduct school visits.
We’d love to hear from you if you feel you have skills that the board and school would benefit from and if you want to develop your personal and professional abilities with free training.
